1. Set your show date and then ask your friends to attend!
So many times a hostess will ask her friends ahead of time if certain dates will work for them. This is only going to make her crazy! Set a date and send out your invites. If people want to come and see our fantastic line of five dollar accessories they will come! Paparazzi Accessory parties are fantastic because you can drop in, shop and head on out to finish your day. No pressure! Set your date, send your invites and get excited about your super fun party!
Direct selling companies have been around for a long time. We now know from years of direct selling home parties that 1/3 of people invited will attend! Don’t be afraid to send out 40 or 50 invitations or more! More sales means more free items for you! Every Paparazzi hostess recieves a free item for each $50 sold! Wow! 3. Use social media venues to reach more people!
Use the tools that are out there to gain more interest and buzz about your event. Send out those snail mail invitations, but also create a facebook event, an evite, twitter your party info and send out a good old fashioned email blast to your entire contacts list!
4. Use the power of your cell phone to remind people of the event.
Text messaging is here to stay! Send out a weekly text to your guest list to help build the excitement for your show! Include all the info you can about my Paparazzi pages! I have a fb page, I tweet and I blog here! I have pictures of our current jewelry up on my facebook page and you can send people to those sites who want to see the jewelry! Then on the day before your event send out a final reminder to everyone and let them know the big day has arrived!
5. Resend an evite or email on the day of the event.
Hostesses who remind their guests of their show get the best attendance. If you can’t make a personal phone call to everyone on your list then resend an evite or email or text on the day of the event to build excitement for your party. Remember, getting people to your party is your job. My job is to show up with our beautiful jewelry and help you get as many free pieces as I can. I love the energy of a roomful of women and men who are excited to snag great jewelry deals. Contacting people on the day of the show may be the single most important contact after the invitation! So text, phone, call, invite!
6. Help your guests choose their pieces!
Help your friends and family put together sets of jewelry items. Show them your favorite pieces, help them pair necklaces with bracelets and earrings. Pull out a hair clip and show how the different pieces can work together. When people buy sets of items for different outfits this will boost your sales and help you to earn more free pieces. Once again, direct selling research shows that most people attend a party with a figure in mind of how much they are willing to spend at your event. Most people spend about $22.00 at a Paparazzi party. You can see that your free pieces will add up quickly.
